We like to customise Neara and create bespoke software to suit our needs, and our client's requirements. Sometimes we make them available for others on a subscription basis. Below is a list of the currently available software that we have publicly released.

Pole % Remaining Strength Calculator

This is a simple calculator that can be used as a quick reference in the field to determine the % remaining strength of a wood pole. If you would like a bespoke version of this, please contact us. Link to the free calculators HERE.

Drawing Plugin

Developed by David, this AutoCAD plugin produces content-rich drawings directly from the Neara model, rather than the basic dxf export that Neara provides natively.

LatPole Integration

Latpole is our P-Y method foundation strength calculator tailored specifically for overhead line design. You can find out more about LatPole and why it is better than Brinch Hansen, and access the web app at www.latpole.com. We also offer the option to use it through our API.

The API allows us to create a module for Neara (and potentially other design software) which exports the information that LatPole requires, and to receive the results. Our unique approach to this means that we don't have to ping the LatPole API every time the design changes, maximising your design efficiency.
